We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable prestige franchise-approved car dealership located in Kidlington. Our client is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a successful multi-dealer group with over 100 locations nationwide.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high quality, maintaining safety, reliability, and performance standards
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle faults, report findings to the Service Manager
  • Adhere to all quality procedures laid out by the dealership and manufacturer
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work effectively within a team environment to meet operational targets
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
  • One to two years’ post-qualification experience preferred, ideally within a franchise-approved dealership; however, experienced Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Good team player with a positive attitude and motivation to meet targets
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, stringent dealer environment
