We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected Car Dealership Group in Croydon, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and award-winning dealership representing multiple manufacturers. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing vehicles, conducting checks, and performing maintenance in line with manufacturers’ guidelines
  • Diagnosing faults and repairing or replacing defective parts and components
  • Advising the Service Reception team on necessary repairs
  • Producing accurate time estimates and maintaining comprehensive repair records
  • Testing repaired systems and ensuring vehicle safety and performance standards are met
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or similar environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to carry out repairs efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to manufacturer standards
  • Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers effectively
  • A desire for career progression within a professional automotive environment
