Our client, a reputable family-run independent premium specialist garage in Blackpool, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled technician to work in a professional environment that values technical expertise, work-life balance, and staff development.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician include:
  • Performing complex repairs including turbos, clutches, and EGR valves
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on premium brand vehicles
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks and inspections to ensure safety standards
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Recording vehicle condition reports accurately and efficiently
  • Replacing timing belts, clutches, and executing light engine work where necessary 
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of five years recent experience in a workshop environment
  • Proven experience working on premium brands such as Land Rover, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Volkswagen
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Sound knowledge of diagnostic equipment and vehicle recording processes
  • Experience with timing belt replacements, clutch repairs, and light engine work
