We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Guildford, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled professional to progress within a well-established dealership, working in a supportive environment that values expertise and development.

Benefits: 
  • Competitive basic salary up to £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus potential of up to £15,000 annually
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x rates
  • 42.5-hour working week with flexible working hours
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Workshop operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest standards
  • Work on a variety of vehicle types, including hybrid and electric models
  • Assist with technical diagnosis and troubleshooting as a Master Technician or Service Technician
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workshop operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Service Technician
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Qualification as a Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technician is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Ability to work flexibly and deliver high-quality workmanship under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
