We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run franchise-approved car dealership based in Bridgend. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Accurately identify vehicle faults and communicate findings to management
  • Ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of vehicles through thorough inspections and repairs
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and quality procedures issued by the dealership
  • Work efficiently within a team environment to meet dealership standards and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report vehicle conditions effectively
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and dealership policies
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership environment
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve vehicle faults effectively
  • Living within reasonable commuting distance of Bridgend
  • Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Organised, methodical, and committed to high-quality workmanship
