  • 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with franchise standards
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager regarding vehicle safety, reliability, and performance
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy, professional workshop environment
  • Support team objectives and work towards set targets
  • Adhere to franchise-specific procedures and protocols
  • Maintain and care for personal tools and ensure workshop cleanliness
  • Assist with vehicle inspections, MOT testing (if qualified), and other technical responsibilities as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualification of at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • One to two years' practical experience as a Vehicle Technician preferred
  • Own set of tools essential
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong team player with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
  • Motivated individual with the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable: prior experience within a franchise-approved dealership
  • Desirable: active MOT Smart Card
