They are a privately owned small animal clinic in Cairns with six vets and thirteen nurses. They roster 3-6 vets every day, so support is always available, and difficult cases are never tackled alone.

Who they’re looking for:

Ideally, you'll have at least three years' experience, but attitude and team fit matter more than a fancy CV. The role involves a mix of surgery and consulting tailored as much as possible to your preferences.

They are looking for someone who enjoys working with good people, takes pride in providing excellent care, and still has the curiosity to keep learning.

International veterinarians already in Australia are warmly encouraged to apply.

• $120,000-$160,000 package equivalent.
• Full-time (38 hours) or part-time (28.5 hours).
• No on-call or after-hours.
• Occasional Saturday mornings only.

The clinic is located in Woree, with a gym, supermarket, cafés, and everyday essentials all within walking distance.

Within half an hour, you can be swimming beneath waterfalls, exploring ancient rainforest, fishing tropical rivers, relaxing on stunning beaches, or heading out to the Great Barrier Reef. Whether your thing is hiking, diving, mountain biking, golf, paddleboarding, or simply swapping grey skies for sunshine, it's all right on your doorstep.
