Warden Call & Door Entry Engineer Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Warden Call & Door Entry Engineer to join a permanent, full-time team covering sites across West Yorkshire.

The role will involve the servicing, fault-finding and installation of warden call and door entry systems, providing a varied mix of planned and hands-on engineering work across a range of customer sites.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working independently and dealing directly with customers.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with warden call and/or door entry systems and be confident carrying out both installation and service work.

You’ll be a practical problem-solver who takes pride in the quality of your work and is comfortable representing the business directly with customers. A background in fire alarms or other life safety systems would be a strong advantage but isn’t essential.

Warden Call & Door Entry Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and fault-find on warden call and door entry systems.
  • Carry out installations across a variety of customer sites.
  • Diagnose technical faults and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete service and installation work to a high standard while following relevant procedures.
  • Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Warden Call & Door Entry Engineer Requirements

  • Proven experience working with warden call and/or door entry systems.
  • Previous installation experience within a relevant engineering environment.
  • Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with fire alarms or wider life safety systems would be advantageous.
