Warehouse and Logistics Co-Ordinator

We are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable Warehouse and Logistics Co-Ordinator to work a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract for a leading client in Leatherhead.

As a knowledgeable Warehouse and Logistics Co-Ordinator, you will undertake the following:

Create works orders and pick stock for set building requirements.

Process orders for customers, including loading works orders as required.

Complete works orders and book finished goods into stock.

Prepare loan sets for use and dispatch using the client's ERP system.

Pick instruments, implants, samples, and other goods, then pack and dispatch as directed.

Ship and track loan sets as required, liaising with hospitals, distributors, and sales representatives where necessary.

Maintain UK consignment stock records.

Ensure all stock transactions are processed accurately to maintain stock integrity at all times.

Perform regular cycle counts in accordance with Company Policies.

Receive loan instrument and implant sets back into stock.

Inspect instrumentation for functionality, missing parts, and cleanliness using approved checklists.

Generate delivery documentation, including packing lists, delivery notes, and shipping paperwork as required.

Archive completed works orders, ensuring all have been completed correctly.

Shrink wrap products.

Answer inbound telephone calls.

Process sales orders through to invoicing and inform management of any changes to delivery schedules.

Gather all information required to set up new customers on the computer system and maintain accurate pricing records.

Deal with customer enquiries directly or coordinate responses from the appropriate departments.

Liaise with other departments to improve internal communication and operational efficiency.

Gather initial information for, and log, customer complaints and incidents.

Generate customer documentation, including order acknowledgements and invoices as required.

As a competent Warehouse and Logistics Co-Ordinator, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Strong organisational skills

Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Excellent attention to detail

Accuracy in stock control, order processing & documentation

Effective team player

Ability to build positive working relationships across departments

Quick Learner, able to understand and follow warehouse, logistics and company procedures

Strong problem solving abilities

Previous working knowledge of Stock Control & Inventory management, Order processing, picking, packing and dispatch

and Data Entry are essential for this position.

A Counterbalance forklift licence would be beneficial for this role but not essential.

Hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday day shift with flexible start times.


In return our client is offering a salary of between £32 - £36k along with a range of excellent benefits.
