  • Follow food safety, hygiene and site procedures at all times, including HACCP and clean-as-you-go standards.
  • Handle products and packages safely, including heavier items where required.
  • Operate basic warehouse or packing equipment such as scanners, scales, conveyors or packing machinery where trained.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area throughout the shift.
  • Provide support with driving duties in emergency cases only, where required and appropriately authorised.

Skills and experience required

  • Previous experience within food production, FMCG, picking and packing, warehouse, chilled distribution or a similar operational environment is desirable.
  • Understanding of food hygiene, food safety and HACCP standards would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to pick, pack, count and record products accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting daily targets.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible to work rotating shifts across days, evenings, nights and weekends.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial due to potential emergency driving requirements.
