Our client has an opportunity for experienced Warehouse Coordinators to join them on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing class leading military aviation MRO support. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, control, and dispatch of materials, tools, and parts while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and high standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will coordinate stock movement, support inventory integrity, and work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers to keep operations running smoothly.
Role: Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Gosport, Hants
Days Working: Mon-Fri Days only.
12-month Contract Role, Inside IR35. (renewable)
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain BPSS
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, parts, and equipment.
- Ensure accurate storage, labelling, and location control of stock items.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch materials in line with work orders, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or SAP systems.
- Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
- Support timely movement of materials between warehouse, maintenance and project teams.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, quality, and logistics teams to resolve shortages, discrepancies, and urgent requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site security procedures.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or non-conforming stock.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment if trained and authorized.
- Support audit preparation and maintain required warehouse documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, stores, or inventory control role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Good understanding of stock handling, storage, and dispatch processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory systems or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or similar regulated environments.
- Familiarity with SAP or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift truck or other material handling equipment certification.
- Experience with cycle counting, stock auditing, or kitting operations.
- Knowledge of export, transport, or shipping documentation.
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent desirable.
- Forklift licence or similar certification preferred, if applicable to the role.
- Relevant logistics, supply chain, or warehouse qualification desirable but not essential.

Working Conditions
- Based at the Gosport site supporting the UK Chinook Program.
