Escape Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business in Livingston to recruit an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys managing people, maintaining operational standards and ensuring a busy despatch operation runs efficiently.

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse and despatch activities, leading a small operational team and ensuring finished goods are managed safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating daily warehouse and despatch operations.

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of warehouse operatives.

• Ensuring accurate stock control, inventory reconciliation and system records.

• Coordinating transport, deliveries and third-party logistics providers.

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.

• Monitoring warehouse performance, productivity and KPIs.

• Supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

• Managing warehouse space, equipment and operational processes.

• Producing operational reports and communicating shift priorities.

• Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience of despatch, stock control and inventory management.

• Excellent SAP knowledge, ideally at super-user level.

• Experience using warehouse management or stock-control systems.

• Confidence leading teams in a fast-paced operational setting.

• Experience coordinating transport and third-party logistics providers.

• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Competent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.

• Willingness to work a rotating three-shift pattern.

• Lead a close-knit team and make a direct impact on performance.
