Would you like to work for a manufacturer experiencing significant growth and investment? Following the recent acquisition of additional premises and with order books full through 2027, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team.
Role & responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
· Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse operation
· Coordinate receiving, storage & despatch of good
· Leading a team of X4 warehouse operatives
· Ensure all stock & finished goods are stored & secured safely
· Hands on role with the team, driving the forklift and moving stock when needed
· Maintain accurate stock records on the MRP system
· Ensure Purchase Orders & Good In receipts are processed within 24 hours
· Work closely with production planners to ensure production kits & materials are moved on time
Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be the Warehouse Manager:
· 5+ years experience as a warehouse manager
· Must have experience of leading a small team - setting tasks, prioritise, training
· Previously have worked in a warehouse connected to manufacturing
· Comfortable working in a busy / fast paced environment
· Must have a Forklift Licence
· Previously have used an MRP system
