About the role:
Loom Talent are proud to have been retained by a repeat client, who are rapidly expanding. As a result, are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team.
As the UK's leading specialist retailer in their specific field, they are looking for an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to oversee their Warehouse Operation and lead a dedicated management team.
Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the Warehouse, ensuring orders are fulfilled safely, accurately and efficiently while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

The Role:
Within the role you'll take ownership of the Warehouse Operation, leading a team of x2 Warehouse Supervisors and a Stock Controller, ensuring they have the support, coaching and direction needed to deliver outstanding results.
You'll be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, achieving key performance indicators and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently to meet the needs of our customers and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop x2 Warehouse Supervisors and a Stock Controller, building a high-performing management team.
- Oversee all Warehouse activities, including goods in, order fulfilment, dispatch and inventory control.
- Ensure operational targets for productivity, quality and customer service are consistently achieved.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands.
- Maintain excellent stock accuracy through effective inventory management and collaboration with the Stock Controller.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with the Head of Warehouse Operations and other departments to support business objectives.
- Provide operational management cover when required.
- While the role is primarily Monday to Friday, occasional flexibility may be needed to support weekends or extended hours during management absence, although this is expected to be infrequent.
About You:
You'll be an experienced warehouse leader with a proven track record of managing teams in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar operational leadership role.
- Experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment.
- Strong people management skills, with experience leading supervisors or first-line managers.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- A sound understanding of Warehouse health and safety and best practice.
- Be commutable to Walsall 5 days per week.
Package:
- Competitive salary of £38,500 - £40,000 per annum.
