Warehouse Manager
Staffordshire £50,000 to £60,000 Days, 7.30am to 5pm

As Warehouse Manager, you'll be joining a business that's experiencing significant growth, and with more people, more work and a busier operation comes the need for additional management.
That's why this position has been created.

The business is expanding its teams and investing in more managers to make sure people have the support they need as it continues to grow.

You'll have a team of around eight, within a much larger manufacturing operation, so whilst your team isn't huge, there's plenty happening around you.

Stock coming in, materials moving around the site and different departments relying on things being in the right place at the right time.
As Warehouse Manager, you'll be the person bringing it all together.

You'll have experienced people around you who know the operation, understand the processes and take pride in what they do.
And you'll want to get to know them.

Not just who's good at what, but what makes them tick, who needs a little more encouragement and who might have a good idea that nobody's thought to ask about.
Because as Warehouse Manager, you'll know that the best teams are built on those everyday conversations, as much as they are on getting the work done.

You'll be approachable, someone your team feels comfortable talking to, but equally comfortable having those more difficult conversations when you need to.
Whether that's managing absence, addressing performance or recognising when someone needs a little extra support.

The business itself has changed considerably over recent years. Facilities have improved, there's been a real focus on health and safety and the management style has become much more open.
And the people are a big part of what makes it tick.

They're a sociable bunch who look out for each other, whether that's helping a colleague who's going through a difficult time or getting behind a local charity.
Your Operations Director is a lovely example of how people can develop here, he started as an apprentice and worked his way through the business, so he understands what life is like on the shop floor and appreciates managers who take the time to listen to their teams.
As Warehouse Manager, you'll have his support, but you'll also be trusted to make decisions and look after your people.

You may already be a Warehouse Manager, Depot Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager. Perhaps you're managing a much larger team and would welcome the opportunity to work more closely with your people.
What matters is that you're organised, understand stock and material movements and enjoy being part of a busy operation where no two days are quite the same.

As Warehouse Manager, you'll receive:

  • £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
  • Day shifts, 7.30am to 5pm
  • 30 days' holiday including bank holidays, increasing to 31 after five years and 32 after ten years
  • Company pension
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Free parking
  • Life insurance after two years' service

If you're a Warehouse Manager who enjoys getting to know your team, takes pride in seeing people do well and likes being part of a business that's moving forward, I'd love to have a conversation.
