Warehouse Operative

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a long-term opportunity with an established and successful business?

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Winchester, with an immediate start available.

The company is a leading manufacturer of specialist switches, joysticks, control panels and electronic interface products, supplying components to customers across a range of industries worldwide.

You'll be joining an established warehouse team, with your main duties initially focused on:

• Picking and preparing orders
• General warehouse duties
• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and efficiently
• Learning new systems and processes as the company introduces a new warehouse computer system
• Providing occasional holiday cover for drivers during quieter periods

This is a temp-to-perm position, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right person.

• £28,000 per year
• £50 weekly KPI bonus once permanent - typically achieved
• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• No regular weekend work
• Free on-site parking
• Uniform and safety boots provided once permanent
• Counterbalance, Reach Truck and Order Picker training available
• Private medical cover after 1 year's service

• Additional day off in lieu if weekend work is required

Previous warehouse experience would be ideal, and forklift licences are a bonus, particularly:

• Counterbalance
• Reach Truck
• Order Picker

The company is willing to put the right candidate through the relevant training once permanent.

You must be over 25 years old due to company insurance requirements.
