Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We are recruiting for a Warehouse/Forklift Operative to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business. This is a varied, hands-on role covering goods in, order picking, dispatch, and general warehouse operations.

Duties will include:

• Receiving, breaking down, and allocating 'Goods In'
• Storing products efficiently using warehouse racking
• Picking and preparing customer orders and completing paperwork
• Dispatching goods and coordinating with couriers/transport companies
• Handling customer collections (including cash/cheques to the office)
• Routine warehouse housekeeping and site maintenance
• Assisting with stock checks
• Operational maintenance of site equipment
• Ensuring safe storage practices and contributing to a clean working environment
• Forklift driving - training will be provided

You will need to have:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Counterbalance licence (expired licences will be refreshed with training provided)
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• Basic IT skills (Excel essential)
• Reliable, team player with a strong work ethic

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:45pm and Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm (39 hours per week)
