Location: Wimblington, March
Salary:
- £12.71 for Monday to Friday (14:00-20:00hrs)
- £13.15 for or Monday to Friday (20:00-22:00hrs)
- £13.66 - £14.07 for 4 On 4 Off Days (06:00-18:00hrs)
- £13.15 - £13.56 for Nights Monday to Friday (18:00-06:00hrs)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts Available: There are two shifts available:
4 On 4 Off Days (06:00-18:00hrs), Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00hrs
The company is not able to offer visa sponsorship therefore candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK in order to be considered.
Main Purpose of the Role:
- To be a key part of the Warehouse team to ensure all business requirements and customer demands are carried out in full as required.
- To ensure the correct and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of goods while meeting all OTIF (on time, in full) targets.
- To show full support and compliance to site and regulatory Health & Safety standards and practices.
- To work cohesively with all other support functions within the wider operation and carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested by the business.
Please note that candidates must be a commutable distance from Wimblington to be considered for this role.
Key Accountabilities:
General Duties :
- Unloading and loading of vehicles using the relevant MHE equipment
- Put stock away and replenishment
- Pallet and case picking and preparing pallets read for dispatch
- Loading trailers ensuring all the pallets travel safe and correct to the manifest
- Carry out rework on pallets when required (de-top, re-stack, case sort, etc.)
Communication:
- Have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and co‐workers
- Be confident and approachable
- Attend and contribute to team briefings
Teamwork:
- Support new starters into the business
- Work together with other operatives to complete tasks when needed
- Support other departments with workload when volume dictates
- Any other tasks as reasonably requested
Health & Safety:
- Always maintain compliance with the site H&S standards
- Attend relevant training courses
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by performing general housekeeping where necessary
- Carry out daily FLT inspections and report any defects as required
- Ensure that all lifting and moving of products are carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Always support the safety culture

About you:
Must Have:
- Ability to multi‐task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be self-sufficient and able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines as well as being part of a team
- Good time keeping and highly organised
- Must have own transportation to work
- Excellent written and numeracy skills
- Minimum of 1 years' experience of working in a Warehouse environment
- Minimum of 1 years' Licence for (or experience of) Counterbalance
Desirable:
- Licence for (or experience of) Pivot & PPT trucks
- (MEWP) Scissor Lift Certificate
- Experience with using RDT scanning equipment
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when needed
