We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative who can bring energy, care, and consistency to core tasks such as picking, packing, loading, and helping keep stock organised and accurate. You’ll work in a busy environment where no two days are quite the same—and where attention to detail matters.

What you’ll be doing

As a Warehouse Operative based in Goole, your day may include a mix of the following:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily dispatch targets.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely, ensuring correct handling of goods.
• Checking stock and assisting with stock movement to help keep inventory accurate.
• Staging goods for dispatch in line with delivery schedules.
• Using warehouse systems (training provided where needed) to record movements and quantities.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting colleagues across the warehouse to ensure smooth operations.

The qualities we’re looking for

We’re interested in people who are reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at pace. You don’t need to be a warehouse expert from day one—if you’re willing to learn, take pride in your work, and communicate well, you’ll fit right in.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a warehouse or similar environment, along with:

• A can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail—especially when it comes to checking orders and quantities.
• Comfort working in a physical, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and follow health and safety rules consistently.
• Clear communication and willingness to support your team.

Safety and training are taken seriously

You’ll be working in a workplace where safe working practices are non-negotiable. We provide guidance and training to help you do the job properly, and we encourage everyone to look out for one another.

If you hold relevant licences (such as counterbalance or reach), let us know—however, we’re also open to candidates who are keen to learn and develop their skills within the warehouse.
