Rate of Pay: £13.41 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 2:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
Requirements: Successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS check and drug & alcohol screening.
We are recruiting Warehouse Order Picker to join a well-established and fast-paced distribution centre in Haydock. This role involves working within a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
Main Duties:
- Picking customer orders using handheld scanning equipment
- Preparing stock for dispatch in line with operational requirements
- Moving products safely around the warehouse using pallet trucks and other manual handling equipment
- Loading and unloading goods as required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily productivity targets
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Comfortable working in chilled conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- PPT experience is advantageous but full training can be provided
- Good communication and basic numeracy skills
