Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Are you hands-on, organised and enjoy working in a busy warehouse or stores environment? Looking for a Monday-to-Friday role with an early finish?

GI Group is recruiting a Warehouse Stock Operative to join the Parts Department at British Car Auctions (BCA), supporting the busy vehicle workshop at its Burnaston site.

This is a practical, hands-on role where you'll help keep workshop parts and stock organised, make sure the right parts are available when needed, and support the smooth running of the workshop.

If you have experience in a warehouse, stores, stock control or parts environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

• Managing workshop stock - keeping track of parts and making sure stock levels are accurate.
• Checking deliveries - booking incoming goods onto the stock system and checking stock against records.
• Finding the right parts - matching vehicle parts and helping ensure the workshop has what it needs.
• Stock checks - carrying out physical stock counts and checking quantities against system records.
• Ordering parts - liaising with the stock team to help replenish stock when required.
• Keeping things running smoothly - supporting the workshop team and helping maintain an organised, efficient working environment.

There will also be some basic computer work and record-keeping as part of the role.

What we're looking for

We're interested in practical, reliable people who enjoy keeping things organised and getting stuck in.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, stock control, parts or a similar environment.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to keep stock records accurate.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using a stock management system.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook or AS400 is useful but not essential. An FLT licence would also be an advantage.

Don't have experience with AS400? No problem - full training will be provided.
