Location:Filton / Patchway
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday with flexibility required to meet business needs

Abatec is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a growing and successful manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a new challenge, or an ambitious Team Leader ready to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of warehouse, production, and stock control activities, ensuring operational standards, stock accuracy, and process efficiency are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain daily production screens and boards, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Issue, monitor, and manage production lead times in line with operational requirements.
  • Liaise closely with the Production Planner based in Germany, acting as the primary warehouse contact.
  • Provide support and guidance to warehouse operators on stock queries and operational issues.
  • Manage the internal ticketing system for Non-Conformance Returns (NCRs), missing stock, and related warehouse matters.
  • Conduct stock reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy, availability, and traceability.
  • Oversee the scrap control process, ensuring procedures are followed and records are maintained accurately.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation through the application of 5S principles.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment across warehouse and production operations.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a warehouse or production environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, or similar operational role.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using operational systems, production screens, and ticketing software.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to stock control and process management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with warehouse teams, planners, and operational colleagues.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to changing priorities and business requirements.

Desirable

  • Experience within a metal stockholding, metal processing, or stock-intensive manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and practical application of 5S principles.
  • Experience with stock reconciliation, NCR processes, and scrap management procedures.
