Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift

Location: Blantyre
Salary: £35,000 per annum, with scope for an increase
Hours: 6-day working week, 10pm-7am

Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach? We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy client, leading the nightshift operation.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for leading and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives, ensuring the daily picking operation runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, delegating and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives
• Planning and overseeing the daily picking operation
• Managing operations across ambient, chilled and freezer departments
• Monitoring staff performance, productivity and accuracy
• Taking responsibility for staff training, development and performance management
• Taking a hands-on approach to daily warehouse management
• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health and safety
• Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong people management skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate a team
• Experience planning and overseeing warehouse picking operations
• A practical, hands-on approach to managing daily operations
• Flexibility to work a 6-day week and across different warehouse temperature-controlled areas
