Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Supervisors in Rugby.
The rate of pay is £16.89 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
Your Time at Work
As Warehouse Supervisor you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the Line Manager in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that all service and cost targets are met or exceeded, that all Health & Safety requirements are met and that the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with the Company's HR policies and procedures- support absence, performance and disciplinary processes.
- Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the warehouse staff.
- Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
- Keeping and maintaining records of team performance against plans and advising the Line Manager of factors that may disrupt operations that cannot be resolved by the team.
- Assisting in the organisation of training and development for warehouse staff.
- Assisting the Line Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and taking appropriate action to ensure cover, as necessary, and managing reductions of unacceptable levels.
- Participating as an active member of the management team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus and teamwork.
- Communicating with transport and planning teams to ensure all scheduled workload is planned and loaded/unloaded correctly.
- Accountable for ensuring return stock is processed and communicated with the returns department on arrival.
- Completing daily trailer checks and communicating to management and transport teams. Escalate in the first instance any stock identified, such as rejections/returns and late dispatched goods to the Line Manager.
- Reporting of safety incidents/accidents.
- Accountable for stock accuracy and communicating with Suppliers.
- Assisting the admin teams and the Line Manager in investigating stock inaccuracies and claims raised.

- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
