A Warehouse Worker at chocolate factory coordinates inventory, handles raw materials, and supports production lines to ensure seamless manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics:  Safely load and unload vehicles and deliver materials to production lines on time.
• Stock Management:  Accurately track stock movements, record inventory using computerized systems and perform pallet checks.
• Workflow Support:  Move finished goods and excess packaging out of manufacturing spaces to maintain a smooth workspace.
• Compliance:  Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards, including escalating temperature/allergen concerns.

Typical Requirements

• Physical Demands:  Ability to perform heavy lifting, standing.
• Experience:  Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and basic computer literacy.

Typical Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate:  Days £12.86 and Nights £13.85 per hour.
• Shift Patterns: Typically, a 4-on, 4-off rota (12-hour shifts) for both day and night teams.
