Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is recruiting for a reliable and driven Water Hygiene Engineer for their team in the South East of England. The company is a growing and successful outfit, who specialise in Water Hygiene / Water Treatment. There are countless routes for further training within the industry, as our client is known for upskilling and promoting across their team . It would be advantageous to be based near to major routes, including: M4 and / or M25, as you will be covering sites across this region. You will be travelling across: Reading, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Camberley, Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Southall, Watford, High Wycombe, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Croydon, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Bromley, Windsor, Beaconsfield, Harrow, Wembley, Potters Bar, Aylesbury, Crawley, East Grinstead, Orpington, Horsham, Sidcup, Bexleyheath.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Proven industry knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 legislation
• Experience working across a range of client sites
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude

The Role:

• Performing pre-planned Water Hygiene duties across commercial, public sector and local authority premises
• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tank
• Showerhead disinfections
• Calorifier inspections
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Updating logbooks
• Working independently and within teams
