Salary: £17.62 per hour
Hours: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30, Fridays 08:00- 14:00
Contract: Permanent
Our client a highly experienced manufacturing and installation company are recruiting for a time-served fully skilled Welder/Fabricator to joint their expanding team.
As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will be: -
- Welding aluminium, copper, and steel in process TIG and MIG.
- Pass coded weld tests in all positions up to 6G.
- Fabricate and weld assemblies, to a high-quality standard in accordance with engineering technical drawings.
- Follow instruction from supervision.
- Assist other skilled tradesman with aspects of the works.
- Maintain upkeep of work area, workshop, and general housekeeping.
- The use of hand tools, such as hand drills, grinders, and power tools.
- Carry out general maintenance across the site.
- Make themselves aware of health and safety risks involved.
- Follow site rules and procedures.
- Following best practice guidelines and ensuring other adhere to them.
- Report to supervisor for workload, issues, and any risk events.
- Completing and assisting with paperwork, risk assessments.
The successful Welder/Fabricator will have the following skills: -
- Must have full UK driving licence.
- Basic English and Maths qualifications (min. GCSE level 4 / grade C).
- Time served, fully skilled welder/fabricator.
- Able to read and work direct from engineering drawings.
- 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
