Welder Fabricator - Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual seeking a stable, full-time, day-shift position within a busy and growing workshop environment.

The successful candidate will be working with both mild steel and stainless steel, producing high-quality fabricated components and assemblies from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless steel components.
• Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings.
• MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
• Measuring, cutting, forming and assembling metalwork.
• Operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience welding mild steel and stainless steel.
• Competent with MIG welding; TIG welding experience would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
