Welder

CNC Recruitment is seeking for Semi-Skilled Welders to join our client in Ilminster area - a well-known construction company in the Southwest area.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques and possess mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble metal components.

Location – Ilton

Job type – Temp – Perm

Working hours – Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm

Salary – up to £20 an hour, depending on experience.

## Duties
- Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards

## Requirements
- Proficient in welding techniques including stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilful in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling metal components
- Experience with sheet metal is advantageous
