Location: Wakefield (Weld Test - Thursday 2nd July) followed by projects across the UK

• Days: £23.25 per hour
• Nights: £29.41 per hour
• Overtime A: £32.55 per hour
• Overtime B: £41.84 per hour
• Accommodation/Digs Allowance: £50 per day

We are currently recruiting experienced TIG/MMA Welders for a 6-12 month contract with a leading UK Oil & Gas engineering company.

Successful candidates will attend a weld test in Wakefield on Thursday 2nd July, with immediate starts available for those who successfully pass.

This role involves carrying out high-quality TIG and MMA welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems on major industrial projects across the UK. As work is site-based, flexibility to travel and work away from home is essential.

• Carry out TIG and MMA welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems.
• Weld to a high standard on a variety of industrial piping systems.
• Work from engineering drawings, weld procedures and technical specifications.
• Produce high-quality welds that meet industry and client standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively as part of a skilled site team.
• Comply with all health, safety and quality procedures on site.

• Proven experience in TIG and MMA welding.
• Previous experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems.
• Ability to successfully complete a weld test in Wakefield on Thursday 2nd July.
• Experience within the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Industrial or Heavy Engineering sectors is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Willingness to travel and work on projects throughout the UK.
• Available for an immediate start following a successful weld test.
