Welder in Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire

Pay: £13.88 - 15.87 per hour

Job Description:

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for multiple Welders for our client based in Ilkeston.

IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW AND STARTS

Duties:

• Welding flanges on large utility pipes for the Water and Waste sectors predominately.
• You will be using automatic welding machines to weld the flanges on the pipes and manual welding any defects
• Spray painting coats on utility pipes
• Will be trained on manual lathes and other stages

Experience Needed/ About You:

• Basic experience of MIG Welding OR machine work
• Ability to learn new skills as requested.
• Previous paint experience advantageous.
• FLT Counterbalance license (desirable)

Pay/ Salary:

• £13.88 p/h Days
• £15.87 p/h Afternoons.
• Overtime x1.5 weekdays and Sat and x2 Sunday.
• Once permanent quarterly bonuses kick in.

Hours & Contract Type:

• 7am – 3.30pm Days
• 3pm – 10.30pm Afters (early finish Friday).
• Permanent contract after 12 weeks
