Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Window Fitter specialising in uPVC installations to join our team on a short-term project in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled installer to work on a well-organised site with consistent work over a 3-week period.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of uPVC windows and doors to a high standard
- Removing existing units and preparing openings
- Ensuring all installations are level, secure, and weatherproof
- Sealing and finishing to a professional standard
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Liaising with site supervisors and other trades as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a window fitter (uPVC essential)
- Own tools required
- Own van desirable for transport of materials and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Valid CSCS card (preferred but not always essential depending on site)
