We are recruiting for a Workforce Optimisation Lead to join our client potentially in Glasgow however this role can also be based in Birkenhead, Holyhead, Dublin, Belfast or Europe (Poland/Sweden).  

The Workforce Optimisation Lead will combine strategic workforce planning, business intelligence and data-driven decision making, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our client has the right capabilities, capacity and skills to support their business for today and in the years ahead.  

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • Significant experience in strategic workforce planning within a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, forecasting and scenario modelling.
  • Experience using workforce data and analytics to support business decision making.
  • Knowledge of maritime and labour legislation and its application within workforce planning activities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial and financial awareness.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of workforce planning frameworks, standards and methodologies across crewing.
  • Translate business strategy, financial plans and operational requirements into robust workforce forecasts and plans.
  • Identify workforce risks, skills gaps and capacity challenges, developing evidence-based solutions.
  • Lead demand and supply modelling, scenario planning and predictive workforce analytics.
  • Provide strategic workforce insights and recommendations to support organisational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and develop meaningful workforce planning dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance and the effective use of workforce data across the organisation.
