Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Working Foreman to begin work for a well-established company in the Birmingham area.

About the role:

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Some out-of-hours work required due to the live environment)

Pay Rate – £300 per day

Brief Role Description – Working as a hands-on Working Foreman overseeing a shop refurbishment within the Bullring Shopping Centre. You will supervise trades on site while also carrying out carpentry works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

About You:

• High work ethic & team player
• Punctual & reliable
• You must be a time served/qualified Working Foreman
• Previous shop fit-out or refurbishment experience preferred
• Carpentry experience essential
• Valid CSCS card required
• SMSTS certificate essential
• First Aid certificate essential
• Comfortable working within live retail environments
• Willing to work occasional out-of-hours shifts when required

Main Duties:

• Supervising trades and subcontractors on site
• Carrying out hands-on carpentry works
• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the refurbishment project
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping
• Liaising with site management and coordinating daily activities
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures
• Working flexibly to accommodate out-of-hours works within the live retail environment
