Working Supervisor

We're currently recruiting for a Working Foreman / Working Supervisor to join a live school refurbishment project in Selston, Nottinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking to take the next step into site supervision with a well-established contractor delivering a programme of small civils and structural remediation works.

We're looking for someone who is confident leading from the front, supervising a small team of subcontractors whilst remaining hands-on where required to help keep the project on programme.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the site.
• Supervising a small team of subcontractors.
• Overseeing minor civils, brickwork, blockwork and formwork activities.
• Assisting with exploratory and opening-up works prior to structural remediation.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Delivering daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Maintaining site paperwork, RAMS and daily records.
• Liaising with the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and subcontractors.
• Leading by example and supporting the trades on site where required.
• Helping maintain programme and quality throughout the project.

Essential Requirements

• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• DBS (Enhanced is preferred)
• Trade background such as Bricklaying, Groundworks or General Building.
• Previous experience working on refurbishment or small civils projects.
• Comfortable working within a live school environment.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to progress into site management.
