Works Manager in Coventry, West Midlands

Keyman Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager for a groundworks and civil engineering project in Coventry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently and keeping the project on programme.

Duties will include:

• Managing day-to-day site activities.

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.

• Overseeing groundworks, drainage and associated civil engineering works.

• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.

• Monitoring progress against the programme.

• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

• Liaising with the site management team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Works Manager on groundworks or civil engineering projects.

• Experience overseeing drainage and associated groundworks.

• Valid CSCS card.

• SMSTS or SSSTS.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
