THE ROLE
As an Experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you will play a key role in managing the daily workflow and production of the accident repair centre. You will coordinate technicians, monitor vehicle progress and ensure repairs are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with customer expectations, manufacturer repair methods and agreed timescales.

You will act as an important link between the workshop, management, customers and other departments, ensuring vehicles move smoothly through each stage of the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:
·Manage and coordinate the daily workflow and allocation of work across the bodyshop
·Monitor vehicle progress to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales
·Liaise with Panel, MET, Paint, Prep and SMART Technicians to maintain efficient production
·Identify and resolve workflow, technical or production issues where required
·Monitor repair quality and ensure vehicles are completed to manufacturer and industry standards
·Ensure technicians have the correct information, parts and resources required to complete repairs
·Maintain effective communication with management, customers and other departments
·Ensure Health & Safety, quality procedures and bodyshop processes are consistently followed

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and organised Workshop Controller with strong knowledge of accident repair processes and the ability to coordinate a busy bodyshop effectively.

·Proven experience as a Workshop Controller within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Strong understanding of Panel, MET, Paint, Prep and SMART repair processes
·Excellent knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and bodyshop workflow
·Strong organisational and time-management skills
·Confident managing technician workloads and production priorities
·Ability to monitor quality, productivity and repair times
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·Customer-focused with a professional approach
·Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·Strong leadership and team coordination skills
·Good understanding of manufacturer repair methods and Health & Safety requirements
·Experience with bodyshop management or workflow systems advantageous
·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
