We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled Workshop Controller to join our client's leading Accident Repair Centre in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time position offering a competitive basic salary of £37,500, with an on-target earnings of approximately £39,020. The successful individual will assume a vital leadership role, overseeing the workshop team, optimising productivity, and ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs.

Duties of a Workshop Controller:
  • Planning and allocating work to Vehicle Technicians effectively
  • Managing workshop productivity and workflow optimisation
  • Monitoring workloads to meet repair deadlines 
  • Coordinating resources to ensure smooth operations
  • Supporting technicians and resolving daily workshop issues
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating closely with the aftersales and bodyshop teams
Requirements of a Workshop Controller:
  • Previous experience within the motor trade is essential
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar leadership role
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence
