Workshop Fitter

Are you a Workshop Fitter looking to further your skill set? We're looking for an experienced Workshop fitters to join our growing team based in Gloucestershire. In this role you will be solving problems, taking pride in carrying out quality repairs to a variety of vehicles and machinery.
 
BASIC SALARY: £32,000 - £40,000
 
LOCATION: Whitminster, Gloucestershire
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Gloucester, Stroud, Nailsworth, Dursley, Berkley, Cheltenham, Thornbury, Tetbury, Syde, Newent, Cinderford, Coleford, Minchinhampton

JOB DESCRIPTION: Workshop Fitter, HGV Mechanic - Commercial Vehicles, Fleet
 
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business where your skills are valued and no two days are the same.
 
As our Workshop Fitter, you will be:
· Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on our HGV fleet
· Diagnosing faults and ensuring vehicles are kept in excellent working order
· Working as part of a professional workshop team to keep our operation running smoothly
· Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern: 05:00 - 14:00 & 10:00 - 19:00
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION : Workshop Fitter, HGV Mechanic - Commercial Vehicles, Fleet
 
To be successful in your application, you will have:
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Previous HGV fitting / mechanical experience is essential
· Class 1 licence preferred, but not essential
