Duties of a Workshop Manager:
  • Manage and oversee workshop operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and high standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of approximately five staff members.
  • Implement effective processes to optimise workshop efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, health and safety legislation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers.
  • Drive sales and improve customer retention through effective team management and service quality.
Requirements of a Workshop Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Workshop Manager or within the automotive industry as a technician with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of commercial vehicle operations and key performance indicators. 
  • Ability to motivate a team, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in managing workshop processes and ensuring compliance.
