Workshop Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles within our workshop, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical work and hands-on problem solving to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HGV'S
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and modification of mechanical components
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Support the team in preparing and presenting fleet vehicles and customer fleets for MOT's
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment at all times
• Light welding and fabrication

What we are looking for

• Proven mechanical knowledge with practical experience in workshop
• Strong work ethics
• HGV Driving licence is an advantage
