Wraparound Care Assistant 

Location: Bromley, London 

Salary: £14.24 - £15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. 

Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary 

Start date: 19/10/2026 

Hours: Term time; breakfast and/or after-school club sessions. Exact session times to be agreed. 

Make breakfast club a welcoming start and after-school club an enjoyable end to the day. Transparency Education is recruiting two Wraparound Care Assistants for opportunities in Bromley. 

This is an active role combining child supervision, creative play and practical organisation. You will help children feel included, support positive friendships and keep club routines running smoothly.

Responsibilities 

• Lead age-appropriate games, crafts and indoor or outdoor activities 

• Supervise breakfast or snacks in line with allergy and hygiene procedures 

• Maintain registers and follow safe arrival and collection arrangements 

• Encourage cooperation and respond calmly to minor disagreements 

• Prepare resources, tidy shared spaces and report concerns promptly 

 Requirements 

• Experience with children in childcare, education, playwork or a similar setting 

• Reliability for agreed morning and/or afternoon sessions 

• Confidence supervising groups and communicating with families 

• Childcare or paediatric first-aid training is desirable 

• An enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
