Wraparound Care Manager Required - Primary School
Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Sutton Coldfield for a Wraparound Care Manager to oversee the school's successful before and after-school provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare or education professional looking to take on a leadership role within a friendly and nurturing school environment. The position is available for an immediate start and has the potential to become long term for the right candidate.

The Role
As Wraparound Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school's before and after-school club provision, ensuring children are safe, engaged and supported in a fun and stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily operation of the wraparound care provision
- Planning and delivering engaging activities for primary-aged children
- Leading and supporting other staff members within the provision
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and school staff
- Ensuring safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintaining accurate records and administrative duties linked to the provision
- Supporting the school's wider pastoral and childcare objectives
Working Hours
The current working pattern is:
- Monday to Wednesday: 11:45am to 6:00pm
- Thursday: 7:00am to 1:15pm
- Friday: Not currently worked
Total: 25 hours per week
Please note that these working hours may be subject to review based on the needs of the school.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years, Education or a related field.
Applications without a relevant Level 3 qualification cannot be considered.
The successful candidate will also have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, wraparound care or educational setting
- Experience supervising or leading activities for children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience managing or coordinating a before and after-school club
- Experience working within a UK primary school setting
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
- First Aid qualification
