An exciting opportunity has become available for a committed Year 3 Teacher to join a primary school in Epping Forest from 2nd November 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term position running through to July 2027. Rather than moving between short-term assignments, you'll have the chance to become a familiar face within the school, understand your class and support pupils consistently throughout the remainder of the academic year.

For the right candidate, this Year 3 Teacher opportunity could also lead to a permanent position in Epping Forest from September 2027.

What You'll Be Doing

The successful Year 3 Teacher will:

• Lead and manage a Year 3 classroom
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Help pupils successfully transition into Key Stage 2
• Use assessment to identify strengths and areas for development
• Encourage curiosity, independence and confidence
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Work closely with support staff and fellow teachers
• Build positive relationships with pupils and families

The Ideal Candidate

We'd love to hear from teachers who have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience within primary education
• Confidence teaching or a strong interest in lower KS2
• Excellent communication and organisation
• A flexible and proactive approach
• Strong classroom management skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils progress
• ECT status is welcomed and encouraged
