We are recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established facilities management contract across Northampton. Key Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are achieved and maintained across the contract
  • Managing profitability through effective understanding and control of the contract P&L
  • Delivering operational services in line with agreed procedures and contractual requirements
  • Driving service improvements, efficiencies and innovation across the operation
  • Leading contract performance and ensuring all obligations are met
  • Challenging existing processes and implementing positive change where required
  • Managing service delivery across a portfolio supporting local schools

What we're looking for

To be successful as an Account Manager, you should have:

  • Experience working within a PFI environment or against key SLA-driven contracts
  • Strong experience meeting contractual obligations and performance targets
  • Extensive people management experience
  • Proven experience managing contract performance and operational delivery
  • A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
  • The ability to make decisions and take accountability within a senior operational role
  • Excellent leadership skills with the credibility to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working within facilities management, ideally supporting schools
  • Knowledge of PFI contracts would be highly advantageous
