About the Team
The Team Around the School Support Hub sits within Surrey's Early Intervention, Prevention and Support Service. We work alongside schools, settings, families and partner agencies to strengthen inclusion, build capacity and provide support at the earliest opportunity.
Through Surrey's developing Experts at Hand approach, we are enhancing Surrey's offer by creating stronger local connections around schools and settings. This enables timely support, coordinated responses and earlier intervention when needs emerge. Our focus is on helping children and young people access the right support at the right time by bringing together expertise, information and services around local communities.
As Surrey prepares for Local Government Reorganisation, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of integrated, locality-based services that will support future ways of working across the county.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and evolving service that is strengthening how support is coordinated around schools, settings, children, young people and families across Surrey. Working alongside TASSH Cluster Coordinators and wider Early Intervention colleagues, you will play an important role in keeping systems, information, meetings and partnership activity organised, accurate and connected.
As a TASSH Assistant, you will provide dedicated customer support, data administration, routine management information and coordination support across Surrey's cluster model. Working closely with TASSH Cluster Coordinators and colleagues across Early Intervention and Prevention Services, you will play a key role in ensuring that systems, meetings, performance information, partnership activity and operational processes run smoothly and effectively.
In this varied role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating meetings, events and partnership activity
- Maintaining records, databases and tracking systems, and supporting referral and monitoring processes.
- Producing, maintaining and presenting routine management information and standard reports
- Supporting communication with schools, settings, partners and commissioned services
- Maintaining action logs, outcome records and evidence of service activity
- Acting as the first point of contact for routine enquiries and escalating more complex issues to senior colleagues when required
- Providing administrative and data support across the TAS SH, Experts at Hand and Placement Stability functions
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to complex environments, takes pride in delivering high-quality support and is motivated by helping colleagues and partners work effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
