Our client, a reputable franchise-approved motorcycle dealership based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is seeking to appoint a Motorcycle Aftersales Advisor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about motorcycles and customer service to join a dynamic team representing prestigious brands.

  • Salary between £27,000 and £28,000 per annum, with bonuses realising on-target earnings of approximately £30,000 per annum

Duties of the Aftersales Advisor:
  • Promote and uphold the dealership’s aftersales service and customer satisfaction levels
  • Engage with customers to provide expert advice and build ongoing relationships
  • Sell motorcycle-related clothing, accessories, and merchandise
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring parts are correctly stored and procurement is aligned with workshop requirements
  • Pre-pick parts for workshop jobs to facilitate an efficient workflow
  • Process customer payments and invoices accurately as the Aftersales Advisor
  • Manage walk-in customers, providing high standards of service exceeding expectations
  • Support workshop operations by ensuring parts availability and timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Contribute to the dealership’s reputation through professional and knowledgeable service
Requirements of the Aftersales Advisor:
  • Proven experience in customer service, ideally within automotive or motorcycle retail environments
  • Knowledge of high-end motorcycles and brands preferred
  • Organisation skills with a track record of meeting targets
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills 
  • A UK motorcycle licence with minimal points is highly desirable but not essential if you possess an active passion for motorcycles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively
