Aftersales Contact Advisor

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-run automotive retailer in the search for an Aftersales Contact Advisor to join their busy aftersales contact centre based in Poole, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and proactive individual who enjoys speaking with people and delivering an exceptional customer experience over the telephone. Working as part of a dedicated aftersales team, you'll play a key role in supporting customers by managing service bookings, handling enquiries and ensuring a seamless journey from first contact through to workshop arrival.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls with customers regarding servicing, MOTs and vehicle repairs.

Booking service appointments into a busy workshop while ensuring maximum workshop utilisation.

Contacting customers to arrange upcoming vehicle maintenance and follow-up appointments.

Providing customers with clear, accurate information regarding aftersales products and services.

Identifying opportunities to promote service plans and other value-added aftersales solutions that genuinely benefit customers.

Handling customer enquiries professionally, resolving issues efficiently and delivering an outstanding level of customer care.

Working closely with Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers and Technicians to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Maintaining accurate customer records using internal dealership systems.

Building strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and a professional telephone manner.

Previous experience within a customer service, contact centre or automotive aftersales environment would be advantageous, although individuals with a passion for customer service and strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Package:

Salary - Up to £28,000 basic + bonus – realistic earning potential of £35,000 OTE!

Hours - Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm
