We’re excited to announce that we’re recruiting for a fantastic Allocations & Lettings Coordinator to join our friendly team. If you thrive in a bustling environment, love keeping things organised, and enjoy interacting with people, this role could be the perfect fit for you!

About the role:

You will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service. In this dynamic position, you will support the Lettings team to ensure an efficient and responsive allocations and lettings function, helping customers find suitable homes while maintaining excellent service standards.

Working closely with the Allocations & Lettings Service Manager and wider team, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support, managing diaries, producing performance reports, and helping to keep key processes running smoothly. You will be responsible for reviewing housing applications and supporting evidence in line with policy, managing property matching through systems such as Home Swapper, and liaising with tenants to help identify appropriate housing options.

The role also involves raising and managing purchase orders, supporting complaint handling processes, and ensuring responses to customer feedback are completed within agreed timescales.

About you...

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

You’ll ideally have experience or understanding of Allocations & Lettings and you will have excellent customer service skills, alongside an understanding of equality and diversity in service delivery.  Confident using IT systems, you’ll be comfortable working with data and reports, and able to apply policies with sound judgement to resolve routine issues.

We’re a friendly bunch who value collaboration and creativity, and we believe that a positive, supportive culture is key to our success. If you have previous relevant experience and a genuine passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!
