Job Title: Appointed Person for Civil Construction Site

Location: IP17 1UT
Hours: 10 hours paid per day
Rate: £35 per hour (CIS)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Appointed Person to oversee lifting operations on our civil construction site in IP17 1UT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all lifting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan lifting operations, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Collaborate with lifting teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate equipment selection and inspection.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and incidents.

Requirements:

• Valid Appointed Person certification.
• Proven experience in civil construction lifting operations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
